2 Cups of Flour

1 Teaspoon of Baking Powder

1 Tablespoon of White Sugar

1 Cup of Milk or Heavy Whipping Cream

3/4 Cup of White Sugar

1 1/2 Sticks of Butter

1 Roll of Crescent Dough Sheets

1 Bag of Frozen Peaches or choice of Peaches

1 Teaspoon of Vanilla

1 Teaspoon of Cinnamon

In a mixing bowl combine flour, baking powder, and one tablespoon of sugar, and mix well.  Next add milk or heavy whipping cream, blending until you get a doughy sticky consistency.

In a large pot add 4 cups of water and the peaches and bring to a boil then add the butter, and after the butter has melted into the boil add the dumplings one at a time using a tablespoon to measure and place into the pot and a butter knife to slide the dough off the spoon. Once all the dough is in the pot after 5 minutes turn down to medium heat and add the sugar and stir gently so as not to disturb the form of the dumplings. Repeat the same method as you add the vanilla and cinnamon.

Next, remove the mixture from the stovetop and place it in a large oven pan of your choice, and cover it with the entire crescent dough sheet roll then butter wash and place into a preheated oven at 325 until the top is golden brown.
